Hi, I'm Nish, a product designer with a master's in computer science. I understand how the work gets built, so the things I design ship the way I designed them.
Selected work.
Ford & Lincoln
The in-vehicle platform millions of drivers use: vehicle controls, voice, and valet mode.
Slate
A fast, private watchlist for movies and TV. No social feed, no followers, just your shelf.

Software Updates
Over-the-air updates, redesigned around trust, so drivers stop dreading them.

Crafting Scholars
A tutoring platform for 200+ families. I built the brand, pricing, product, and booking.
Lab.
Tint, browse in your style
A browser concept that restyles any page you open to match your taste, in real time. Pick a look and the whole web starts to feel like yours.

Design Systems for AI Agents
I pulled an existing design system out of Figma into Markdown, then used an AI agent to build a real, on-brand web app from it. Here’s how the loop worked, and why I think it’s where design tooling is going.

Marrow
A density slider for non-fiction. Slide it left and the padding folds away until only the argument remains, every word still the author’s. It runs on your device, no account and no AI.

The new shape of AI design
The next thing we design isn’t a chat box. It’s the environment a team of AI agents works inside: an org chart, tickets, and docs they pick up as they go. I set one up to run my own projects.
How I think about the work.
Simple over clever
My first move on anything is to take something out. If a screen needs a walkthrough, it isn't finished. Plain and working beats clever and impressive.
Empathy is practical
I build for the people who'll actually use the thing, not the ones watching the demo. It isn't a soft skill. It's what keeps a product in use a year later.
Work in the open
I share things early, while they're still rough and cheap to change. Design, product, and engineering make better calls in one room than any of us alone.
Quality and speed
I sweat the details and I still ship. I'd rather get something good in front of people this week than something flawless next quarter.
Safe and bold
Every project is a chance to try something I haven't done before. I ship the version that's ready, and keep a bolder one moving on the side.
People first
I put the effort where it counts, then step away from the screen. The work holds up better when I'm rested and the people around me are alright.
Kind words.
